Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rajendra Parajuli is an environmental epidemiologist whose research focuses on the health impacts of environmental contaminants across the life course, with particular emphasis on metals, pesticides, and complex chemical mixtures. His work integrates environmental epidemiology, toxicology, biostatistics, and One Health approaches, addressing vulnerable populations such as pregnant women, children, adolescents, and Indigenous communities. He has made substantial contributions to birth cohort studies, biomonitoring programs, and gene–environment interaction research, linking chemical exposures with neurodevelopmental, cardiometabolic, immunological, and parasitic outcomes.
